Real Life Buried Treasure... Not Chocolate!

The Israel Antiquities Authority reported a thrilling find Sunday — the discovery of 264 ancient gold coins in Jerusalem National Park. The coins were minted during the early 7th century.
Things like this make me wonder why I ever gave up archaeology. Then I remember sweating my ass off in the middle of a field with no shade in 90 degree weather and 80% humidity, digging empty hole after empty hole after empty hole then filling them back in…….. and it all becomes clear again.
